We warmly welcome you into The Tolly,
our 17th century Quintessentially British Pub.

We took over “The Tolly” in 2015 with a pipeline dream, tonnes of ambition and a bucket-load of passion for everything hospitality. Our aim was to create the perfect pub, the place for every occasion, somewhere everyone felt at home and that place you called your local.

7 years on, that is still our passion and we are so glad so many people have joined our big Tolly family. So come on in, pull up a stool and tell us your story!

Booking

Booking a table with us couldn’t be simpler. Our friends at ResDiary will take your reservation with the minimum amount of fuss. Fill in your requirements below to secure your booking. You will need to populate your personal details alongside your card details initially to secure the booking. Upon booking, no money will be taken out of your account but you will need to open your banking app to approve a payment of £0.00. Please make sure you receive a booking confirmation from ResDiary as this is the only way your booking will be confirmed. Any problems, please contact us directly on 01536 711770.

NB – if you’re looking to eat outside with us, that’s fantastic, but because of the good old English weather, we don’t take any reservations outside, it is first come first served, so if the sun is shining, get here early.

Food

Our philosophy on food is very simple. Source the best quality ingredients and treat them with respect.

We believe there is no better place than being at the dinner table with family, the table must be packed with food, everyone digging in and helping themselves.

Our menu is varied offering a fantastic range of meals that everyone can enjoy with all tastes catered for.

We also have a children’s menu for the little ones, and if you’ve brought your furry friend along, we’ll even have biscuits for them!

Drink

Food without drink is like Tonic without the Gin! We have a fantastic range of real ales, premium lagers and individually sourced spirits to please even the most picky connoisseur.

Our house gin supplier is the Warner’s Distillery produced in a 200 year old barn in our picturesque village in Northamptonshire by husband and wife team Tom and Tina. It’s an exceptionally smooth gin of which all of Britain can be rightly proud.

And as caffeine addicts we know great coffee when we try one and The Tollemache Arms is proud to serve Carrara, based only 10 miles away from the pub, whose house blend dimora is a beautifully balanced and versatile coffee that can be brewed with any method.

Accessibility – We are a fully accessible pub and everyone is welcome here at The Tolly. We have accessible toilet facilities and step-less access available. Please let us know if you have any special requirements at the time of booking.

NB – last Monday of every month is our quiz night, booking is required over the phone only. The bar will be open as usual for drinks only but space is very limited.
